Field Visits to SMEs

The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Al Dhafra branch recently conducted field visits to several selected small and medium-sized enterprises across the Al Dhafra region. The objective was to empower and support entrepreneurs and small projects, allowing the chamber to assess their needs firsthand and strengthen direct communication with them. This initiative is crucial for improving these businesses and raising their competitive efficiency.

Strategic Commitment to Development

According to the Abu Dhabi Chamber, this awareness initiative embodies its commitment to supporting and developing private sector companies across various regions of the emirate. It aligns with the chamber’s strategic roadmap for 2025 to 2028, which focuses on enabling companies to expand, building an integrated business ecosystem, and enhancing sustainable economic development throughout the emirate. The overarching goal is to solidify the private sector’s position as a key driver of the local economy.

The tour included five companies operating in the retail, tourism, and manufacturing sectors: the Western Hotel in Madinat Zayed, Al Dhafra Walk, La Belle Chocolate & Flowers, Al Qahwa Arabic Coffee Company, and Domo Bakery. The chamber highlighted that these visits aimed to showcase the inspiring success stories of these businesses and foster a deeper understanding of the operational challenges they face. Furthermore, exploring opportunities for collaborative growth will contribute to sustainable commercial development and enhance the local business landscape.

Strengthening Business Dialogue
