His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has been presented with the plans and stages for the establishment of the “Challenge of Reading Endowment” initiated by Shoba Group in Dubai. This ambitious project, valued at 500 million dirhams, is dedicated entirely to supporting the “Challenge of Reading” initiative.
Supporting Cultural and Educational Initiatives
The funds generated from this endowment will significantly contribute to the strategic plans of the Challenge of Reading initiative, aimed at developing knowledge and cultural programmes. The initiative not only focuses on enhancing educational opportunities but also emphasizes the preservation of the Arabic language.
Empowering Future Generations
Through this project, the aim is to empower new generations of Arabs by providing them with access to modern knowledge and sciences. This aligns with Sheikh Mohammed’s vision of fostering an informed and culturally aware youth who are equipped to navigate the challenges of the future.
This commitment to education and culture signifies a significant step towards enriching Arab intellectual resources and ensuring the sustainability of the Arabic language in an increasingly globalised world.
