Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister, highlighted the city’s pioneering role in crafting the legislation of the future. In a recent announcement made on his social media account on the platform “X”, he revealed the formation of the “Dubai Future Legislation Team”. This initiative, supervised by the Dubai Future Foundation and the Supreme Committee of Legislation, brings together 25 government entities aimed at enhancing Dubai’s legislative framework.

Sheikh Hamdan remarked that this collaborative effort aspires to bolster Dubai’s global competitiveness and its appeal for talent, while also preparing the emirate for new economic sectors and unconventional business models. He stated, “Dubai leads the global race in designing future legislation… We want legislative innovation to become a comprehensive institutional practice that collaborates across both the public and private sectors in Dubai.”
