The United Arab Emirates continues its humanitarian efforts to support the residents of Gaza through “Operation Gallant Knight 3.” This initiative plays a crucial role in alleviating the suffering of families by providing food and essential needs via community kitchens and bakeries.
Addressing the Hunger Crisis
Since its launch in 2024, “Operation Gallant Knight 3” has been proactive in fighting the looming threat of famine affecting Gaza’s population. The programme has expanded its support to community kitchens, establishing 20 facilities across various regions of the strip. These kitchens collectively produce approximately 6,000 meals daily, resulting in an impressive annual output of 2.25 million meals.
Expansion and Increased Production
In 2025, the initiative further intensified its efforts by doubling the number of community kitchens to 40. This expansion has allowed for the provision of hot meals to the residents of Gaza, reaching a production volume of nearly 8 million meals annually by early 2026. These ongoing efforts demonstrate a steadfast commitment to meeting the food needs of the population.
Support for Bakeries and Bread Distribution
In tandem with meal provision, “Operation Gallant Knight 3” has also increased its focus on supplying bread to families in need, especially those residing in displacement camps and shelters. Between 2024 and 2026, the programme has operated 27 bakeries, alongside additional community bakeries, yielding an annual production of around 1.5 million loaves of bread.
Continued Commitment to Food Security
To this day, “Operation Gallant Knight 3” remains dedicated to delivering essential food support to families, children, and women in Gaza. Through its network of community kitchens and bakeries, the operation continues to meet basic needs and alleviate hardships faced by the population.
