Sharjah Crown Prince Honors Team Behind “End of Battle”

His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, commended the Sharjah Police General Command for its exceptional achievements in enhancing the emirate’s security framework. Such accomplishments are attributed to the vision and support of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, who has consistently provided the necessary resources to enable the security forces to fulfil their duties effectively.

Praise for the Security Forces

During his visit to the Sharjah Police General Command, His Highness recognised the hard work of the security teams, particularly applauding their efforts in solving the “End of Battle” case, a recent operation executed in partnership with the Ministry of Interior and various security agencies across the UAE.

Expressing gratitude, His Highness stated, “After thanking God, and recognising the guidance and orders of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, we observe that the outcomes reflect positively on the Sharjah Police General Command and the emirate’s security system. This demonstrates steady progress in operations, rapid response to reports, case resolutions, and other services that bolster community safety.”

Acknowledging Past Efforts

His Highness further commented on the significant development observed within the security agencies, attributing these milestones to years of diligent effort and leadership by previous officials. “The achievements we celebrate are the result of consistent hard work,” he remarked, “and I hope future generations will continue building on these successes.”

Commitment to Excellence

In addressing the security personnel, His Highness stressed the importance of maintaining high standards, stating, “All indicators show your dedication and commitment, yet this also means we have a greater responsibility to continue at this level and improve our public services through continuous education and training.” He emphasised the necessity for ongoing development, noting that crime often evolves faster than legal measures, necessitating constant improvement in skills and adaptability to new challenges.

Upholding Integrity and Compassion

Regarding the characteristics of police personnel, His Highness highlighted the need for officers to embody integrity and serve as role models. “While the law is a force, compassion must precede authority,” he noted. “We should act in accordance with the spirit of the law, extending goodwill before casting suspicion upon others.” He reiterated the importance of respecting the rights and belongings of individuals, underscoring the necessity for confidentiality in sensitive matters.

Promoting Community Welfare

His Highness also acknowledged initiatives undertaken by the Sharjah Police General Command, such as the Officers’ Club and Desert Park, aimed at enhancing the quality of life for personnel. He advocated for the inclusion of retired officers in these projects to maintain their connection to their former roles.

Honouring Distinguished Service

Wrapping up his address, His Highness prayed for the prosperity of the UAE and its leadership, invoking blessings for His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and for the people of the emirate. He presented the “End of Battle” team with medals of outstanding performance, recognising their substantial contributions in unravelling the complexities of the case and safeguarding individual and institutional rights.

Successful Operation Against International Crime Networks

The Sharjah Police, in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, successfully dismantled four interconnected international crime syndicates in an operation termed “End of Battle”. The crackdown resulted in the arrest of 33 suspects from 12 different nationalities, including key operatives, involved in numerous crimes, including cyber intrusions, money laundering, digital wallet theft, fraud, extortion, data trafficking, and violent assaults.

This operation safeguarded over 30 companies globally, secured assets exceeding 65 billion dirhams, and led to the seizure of over 200 million dirhams. Additionally, more than 3,000 digital wallets underwent scrutiny and investigation.

Commitment to Continuing Excellence

The Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, affirmed that the achievements of the Sharjah Police reflect the vision and support of the Ruler of Sharjah and the continuous guidance of the Crown Prince. He reiterated the commitment of all officers to implement the leadership’s directives effectively, ensuring community safety and providing top-notch services that elevate the emirate’s standing among the world’s best cities.

Enhancing Security and Community Assurance

During the visit, His Highness learned about the strategic indicators achieved by the Sharjah Police, underlining the significant progress made and the dedication of personnel towards reaching their goals. Impressively, the Sharjah Police reported a 99.70% satisfaction rate concerning the sense of public safety and a 100% emergency response rate within designated timeframes. Notably, the crime rate for major offences per 100,000 residents showed a 50% decline in the first half of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025, alongside a 21% increase in the resolution of such crimes.

Future Initiatives and Technological Integration

The presentation included upcoming projects by the Sharjah Police, such as the “Sharjah Safe Emirate” initiative, the new Police Officers’ Club, a Desert Park, and an Innovation Centre. During his visit, His Highness toured the operations centre equipped with multiple control rooms designed according to the highest security standards, featuring advanced software systems and artificial intelligence to ensure rapid responses and efficient decision-making.

He also explored the interconnected network supporting traffic signal cameras throughout the emirate and other collaborative tools that enhance public safety and service quality.
