With a vision of “from Sharjah to the world,” Iktafa aims to enhance its presence in the organic food ecosystem of the Emirate of Sharjah on the international stage. This complete integration showcases the efficiency of its system and underscores Sharjah’s commitment to developing a sustainable agricultural and livestock production sector driven by innovation, modern technology, and efficient resource utilisation amidst climate challenges.

Innovative and Sustainable Food Production

Dr. Khalifa Musabbah Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock and CEO of Iktafa, expressed that the objective of participating in SIAL Paris extends beyond merely showcasing Sharjah’s exemplary experience in producing safe organic food. The aim is to enhance international awareness of Sharjah’s capabilities in sustainable food production, sharing expertise with global industry leaders, forging strategic partnerships, uncovering collaboration opportunities, and presenting achievements in organic dairy production, poultry farming, and wheat cultivation. These efforts align with global best practices and contribute to the development of innovative food industries and the adoption of sustainable solutions that promote environmental responsibility.

Showcasing Sharjah’s Model at SIAL Paris

Dr. Al Tunaiji added that SIAL Paris 2026 represents an opportunity to position Sharjah as a leading model in organic and secure food production by leveraging innovation and modern technology to address environmental challenges.
