Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation Shines at International Education Expo

الشارقة 24:

The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation proudly participated in the International Education Exhibition, held at the Sharjah Expo Centre from October 11 to 13, 2026. This participation aimed to showcase their “Educate with a Pen” project, highlighting the organisation’s commitment to academic empowerment for children who have lost a parent, along with its comprehensive educational programmes and services designed to support their academic journeys and enhance their opportunities for a promising future.

The “Educate with a Pen” Initiative

The Foundation’s involvement in the exhibition served to bring attention to the “Educate with a Pen” initiative, which is one of its key academic empowerment projects. This initiative encompasses a well-rounded array of educational programmes and initiatives, including funding for school and university tuition, the provision of digital devices, and developmental training courses. Additionally, it includes academic monitoring and skills development for students, all aimed at enhancing their academic performance and preparing them to meet future demands.

Building Partnerships and Community Support

Participation in the exhibition provided a platform for networking with educational institutions, academic entities, and visitors, facilitating discussions on collaboration opportunities and community partnerships. These collaborations are vital for expanding the educational support provided to children and enhancing the integration of different sectors to ensure the sustainability of academic empowerment efforts.

Commitment to Sustainable Education

Mariam Al Khalifa, Director of Partnerships and Marketing at the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, stated that the Foundation’s participation in the International Education Exhibition reflects its deep-rooted belief that education is the cornerstone of sustainable empowerment. She further emphasised that the “Educate with a Pen” project embodies the Foundation’s commitment to providing an encouraging educational environment that transcends mere financial support by investing in the skills and capabilities of these children. This investment helps empower them to continue their academic journeys confidently and competently, ultimately preparing a generation that is academically and intellectually qualified to make positive contributions to society.

Future Aspirations and Continued Efforts

Al Khalifa added, “We aim, through our participation in educational exhibitions, to enhance the visibility of the ‘Educate with a Pen’ initiative and to raise awareness about its impact on the lives of children who have lost a parent. We believe that collaborative community efforts are fundamental to achieving more sustainable educational opportunities. We look forward to expanding our partnerships to provide our children with more academic and developmental opportunities, translating their ambitions into tangible achievements that reflect the benefits of investing in human potential.”

The Foundation continues its relentless efforts to enhance the academic empowerment system and strengthen educational and community partnerships that support the continuity of children’s education. This commitment aligns with its mission to empower these young individuals and build their capacities, preparing them to become active and influential contributors to community development.
