Family Consultation Impact
From January to August 2026, the authority delivered 456 family consultations through 2,280 advisory sessions, successfully resolving 435 cases. This outcome highlights the positive impact of the service and its role in delivering essential support to families.
The service continues to achieve high resolution rates, having recorded a 94% success rate in 2025, which demonstrates the sustained positive effects of family support and guidance services.
Preventive Approach and Early Intervention
The family consultation service exemplifies the Community Development Authority’s commitment to building a proactive social system that emphasises prevention and early intervention. This approach provides timely specialised support to families, enhancing their capacity to manage challenges effectively and maintain cohesion and stability.
Strategic Framework and Objectives
This proactive focus aligns with the authority’s corporate strategy for 2027-2031, which reflects a vision of “Proactive and Sustainable Development for a Prosperous Community.” Within this framework, the stability and formation of families, along with their ability to confront challenges, are key strategic objectives. Furthermore, efforts are underway to establish a comprehensive system that encompasses the family journey across various stages.
The initiative also supports Dubai’s Family-Friendly Strategy aimed at developing an integrated support system for families at different stages of life, thereby enhancing their stability and improving quality of life. This aligns with the objectives of Dubai Social Agenda 33, which places families at the heart of social development, fostering their cohesion and wellbeing.
