Empowering Emiratis: Thousands of Job Opportunities Launching in Dubai

Dubai is set to host the 2026 edition of the “Vision” Jobs Exhibition at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 28 to 30 September. This highly anticipated event will bring together over 150 government and private sector entities, along with educational institutions.

A Platform for Empowerment and Opportunity

The primary goal of the exhibition is to prepare Emirati talents and connect them with thousands of job opportunities across more than 23 vital sectors. This cements its position as a comprehensive national platform that supports localisation efforts and aligns with the aspirations of a future economy by empowering students, graduates, and professionals alike.

Evolution Over 25 Years

Athar Al Sharif, Assistant Vice President for Sustainable Development and Exhibition Management at the Dubai World Trade Centre, emphasised that the event has evolved over its 25-year history. It now transcends mere matchmaking between job seekers and employers, becoming a strategic platform for empowering national talents and exploring emerging sectors and future workforce trends.

Focus on Continuous Learning and Adaptation

According to Al Sharif, preparing for the future of work requires ongoing learning and adaptation. The exhibition facilitates this by providing professional development opportunities that extend beyond the days of the event itself.

Strategic Support from Key Partners

The event benefits from significant support from strategic partners, including the Dubai Government Human Resources Department, the UAE Human Resource Development Council, the Federal Youth Authority, and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority. Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank is featured as a gold sponsor of the event, which is designed to assist citizens at all stages of their careers, offering early planning and guidance for informed decisions regarding their educational and career paths.

Interactive Programs and Innovative Challenges

This year’s exhibition includes a range of interactive programmes, notably the “Employed” initiative, which offers a platform for direct interviews, expediting access to job opportunities. The exhibition also presents real-world challenges in innovation, technology, and space, collaborating with prominent organisations such as the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation, the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, the “Quarter Century” Foundation, the UAE Space Agency, and Dubai Media Incorporated.

Podcast Studio and In-Depth Discussions

Additionally, the event will host a podcast studio in collaboration with Dubai Media Incorporated, where in-depth discussions will take place with decision-makers and experts on entrepreneurship and the future of the UAE economy.
