In a moving initiative directed by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, the Sharjah Police have taken significant steps to create a positive and supportive work environment for their employees and their families. This effort was highlighted during the recent visit by His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Mubarak Bin Amer, the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, who welcomed members from the “Little Policeman Early Childhood Centre” as part of the back-to-school activities. Accompanying him were Major General Dr. Ali Ahmed Al Zoud, Director General of the General Administration of Resources and Support Services, and Ms. Iman Zaid, Director of the Centre, alongside several officers and personnel.
Enhancing Family Stability Through Early Childhood Education
The “Little Policeman Nursery,” which opened last year, has undergone a significant transformation with the establishment of the “Little Policeman Early Childhood Centre.” This initiative aims to bolster family stability and improve the quality of life for police personnel by providing a robust educational framework for their children.
Comprehensive Facilities for Young Learners
The Centre features fully equipped classrooms for kindergarten, accommodating up to 30 children. Additionally, it offers nursery facilities for younger children aged three months to four years, with a capacity of 100 children. The environment is designed to be safe and nurturing, catering to the developmental needs of children at various stages of their growth.
Commitment to Work-Family Balance
During his tour of the Centre, Lieutenant General Abdullah Mubarak Bin Amer expressed that the development of a dedicated early childhood centre illustrates the Sharjah Police’s commitment to the welfare of its members’ children. He emphasised the importance of providing an institutional framework that combines care and education, aiming to achieve a balance between work demands and family responsibilities.
A Positive Start to the School Year
His Excellency’s visit included an inspection of the classrooms, educational resources, and modern facilities. The event also featured engaging and interactive activities designed to prepare children for an enthusiastic and positive start to their school year.
