Abu Dhabi (Al-Ittihad) – The Abu Dhabi Police have welcomed members of the Wisdom Council from the Zayed City Community Centre, part of the Family Development Foundation in the Al Dhafra region, during their visit to students participating in the eighth edition of the “Future Police Champions” programme for Summer 2026. This initiative is part of the Police’s efforts to reinforce national identity and foster a connection between the younger generations and the genuine Emirati heritage.
Promoting Emirati Values
The Abu Dhabi Police stated that the visit is part of their community-based and awareness programmes aimed at instilling authentic Emirati values in students’ minds. The initiative seeks to enhance feelings of belonging and pride in national identity by educating participants about UAE customs and traditions, while highlighting the indispensable role of senior citizens in passing down cultural heritage and inherited experiences to the new generation.
Interactive Activities and Cultural Exchange
During the visit, a series of interactive activities were conducted in the “Emirati Manners” area. One notable event, “From Our Customs, We Learn,” was led by members of the Wisdom Council, showcasing several values and traditions that reflect the UAE’s identity. Students also learned about the art of preparing Emirati coffee, a symbol of hospitality, generosity, and cultural authenticity within Emirati society.
