UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received a phone call from Russia’s Foreign Minister, during which they reviewed the latest regional and international developments, with a particular focus on the Middle East and efforts to promote security, stability and lasting peace across the region.
Regional developments and peace efforts
The two sides discussed the situation in the Middle East and ways to strengthen ongoing efforts aimed at achieving security, stability and sustainable peace in the region, in a manner that meets the aspirations of its peoples for development and prosperity.
Bilateral ties
They also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest related to relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance them in a way that serves their shared interests.
