His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, visited the Ajman Government Media Office to review its workflow, key achievements, and the plans and projects aimed at developing the government communication ecosystem, strengthening the emirate’s media presence, and documenting its journey and accomplishments.
He was received by Ahmed Saeed Al Kaabi, Acting Executive Director of the Media Office, along with a number of officials and staff members.
Review of work across editorial and technical teams
During the visit, His Highness toured the office’s departments and editorial and technical units, where he was briefed on the mechanisms used to prepare news reports, visual and digital content, and media coverage of official events and activities, as well as the management of content directed to media outlets and digital platforms.
He also listened to an overview of the office’s achievements, plans and projects, and its efforts to enhance work tools, raise the efficiency of media coverage, and strengthen coordination with government entities and media outlets, in a way that contributes to presenting an accurate and balanced picture of Ajman’s development journey.
Project to build a comprehensive archive for Ajman
His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman was also briefed on a project to establish a comprehensive archive for the emirate, bringing together news, photographs, visual materials and documents related to official occasions and the development stages Ajman has undergone. The archive will preserve, classify and make these materials accessible within a modern system serving documentation, research and knowledge purposes.
He praised the professional organisation and integration among the work teams that he observed during the visit, commending the efforts of the Media Office staff and their role in highlighting the emirate’s achievements and strengthening communication between the government and the community.
Government media as a partner in development
His Highness stressed that government media is a key partner in the development process, and that its responsibility is not limited to reporting news, but extends to providing accurate information, explaining policies and initiatives, and building trust with the public.
He affirmed that Ajman media continues to express the emirate’s identity and ambitions, present its achievements with objectivity and professionalism, and deepen its connection with the community, while keeping pace with change and developing working methods. He also highlighted the wise use of artificial intelligence technologies to support content production, monitoring and analysis, while preserving the accuracy and reliability of information, alongside continued investment in young national talent and empowering them with the skills of writing, photography and digital production to improve content quality, enhance its impact and maintain its values.
Safeguarding the emirate’s historical memory
His Highness underscored the importance of the archive project as a national responsibility that preserves Ajman’s historical and human memory, and documents its stages of development and its social, cultural and development transformations. He directed that it be completed according to the best practices, and that a modern digital system be built to ensure the sustainability of its content and ease of access, making it a trusted reference for future generations, researchers, journalists and institutions.
For his part, Ahmed Al Kaabi expressed his appreciation for the visit of His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman, مؤكداً that his guidance represents an incentive for work teams to continue developing performance, improving content quality, expanding the scope of coverage, and enhancing the effectiveness of the media message.
He added that the Media Office will work to translate His Highness’s directives into practical programmes and projects that support the government communication ecosystem, advance media and documentation work, and contribute to producing content that reflects Ajman’s standing and conveys its achievements and aspirations with professionalism and objectivity.
