Sharjah Museums invites children to enjoy a summer full of knowledge and entertainment through the “Happy Summer Camp.” This annual camp, running from July 13 to August 20, 2026, will take place at five of Sharjah’s museums and offers a variety of educational and interactive programs for children aged 7 to 12. From July 13 to July 23, 2026, the Sharjah Maritime Museum will host the camp for children aged 7 to 9, where participants will embark on an interactive journey through Sharjah’s maritime history. The program includes over 670 artifacts documenting seven thousand years of maritime heritage, providing a unique opportunity to explore the maritime heritage of the UAE, with a focus on traditional crafts and the palm environment.
Activities at the Sharjah Aquarium
During the same period, the Sharjah Aquarium, the first governmental marine center in the UAE, will welcome children aged 7 to 9. The program includes interactive educational activities that enhance children’s knowledge of marine species and their environments while raising awareness about the importance of protecting the marine environment.

The camp will conclude at the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization from August 10 to August 20, 2026, where children will engage with Islamic arts and sciences through workshops on Arabic calligraphy and decoration.
