Etihad Airways and Condor Strengthen Partnership with New Service Between Bangkok and Abu Dhabi and Loyalty Program
In a new step to enhance travel offerings, Etihad Airways and Condor have announced the strengthening of their strategic partnership by introducing a new service connecting Bangkok and Abu Dhabi, along with a reciprocal loyalty program. This collaboration aims to expand the flight network between Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, providing travelers with broader options and improved services.
New Partnership Agreement
Etihad Airways and Condor signed a new agreement during the annual meeting of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in Rio de Janeiro. This agreement includes a frequent flyer program, allowing members of the Etihad Guest program to redeem their miles on Condor flights. With the addition of the new service between Bangkok and Abu Dhabi, Bangkok becomes the third destination in Condor’s network connected to the UAE capital, enhancing travel options between the two locations.
Enhancing Air Connectivity
This initiative is part of both companies’ efforts to expand air connectivity through Abu Dhabi, enabling travelers to enjoy travel opportunities to numerous destinations in Europe, North America, and the Caribbean. The agreement also includes codeshare participation, which contributes to better integration of networks and services for an exceptional travel experience.
New Travel Opportunities
This unique partnership combines Condor’s strong network and position in Germany with Etihad’s growing global network through Abu Dhabi. Thus, this initiative opens new travel opportunities between Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Australia, also contributing to the enhancement of Abu Dhabi’s tourism and economic aspirations.
