The initiative titled “Youth of the Emirates Health Services Foundation” organizes the “Future Leaders Council,” emphasizing the vital role of youth in shaping the future of the healthcare sector. Through this platform, young leaders engage in constructive dialogue, reflecting the organization’s commitment to empowering the younger generation and fostering innovation in healthcare. In line with the UAE’s national strategy, this collaborative effort aims to develop future leaders who can contribute to the growth and sustainability of the health sector.
The Youth Council of the Emirates Health Services Foundation organized the second meeting of the “Future Leaders Council,” attended by the foundation’s leadership and a select group of young professionals. This meeting is part of the foundation’s efforts to empower youth and enhance their participation in shaping future visions for the healthcare sector, aligning with the UAE’s national directions to invest in the potential of youth and prepare future leaders.
The Director General of the foundation, Dr. Youssef Mohammed Al Serkal, emphasized that empowering youth is one of the strategic pillars in the development of the healthcare system. He noted that the foundation is keen on providing interactive platforms that allow youth to actively participate in proposing ideas and envisioning the future of healthcare services. He added that investing in young talents and enhancing their leadership and knowledge capabilities contributes to building a more sustainable healthcare system and strengthens the foundation’s readiness to keep pace with rapid transformations in the healthcare sector, particularly in digital transformation and innovation.
He encouraged young professionals to adopt a proactive approach based on initiative and innovation, making optimal use of available training opportunities to translate knowledge into practical solutions that contribute to the development of healthcare services. He emphasized the importance of keeping up with technological advancements and effectively utilizing them, while fostering teamwork, which solidifies their role as true partners in shaping the country’s healthcare future.
For her part, the Chairwoman of the Youth Council, Amena Al Hammadi, stated that the “Future Leaders Council” initiative serves as a vital platform to enhance direct dialogue between leadership and youth within the foundation, allowing for the presentation of ideas, visions, and the launch of developmental initiatives led by young people. She clarified that the council contributes to establishing a culture of institutional participation and motivates young talents to innovate and take initiative, thereby enhancing their role as active partners in the development of healthcare services and achieving the foundation’s strategic goals.
