This complex embodies the noble values instilled by the late founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and continues to provide support to children with the assistance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and the efforts of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE. Distinguished Attendance at the Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony was attended by Turkey’s First Lady, Emine Erdoğan, along with several Turkish and Emirati officials. Among them were Her Excellency Dr. Maitha bint Salem Al Shamsi, Minister of State, and Her Excellency Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of Family and Social Services in Turkey. They gathered to celebrate the rehabilitation of the complex, which is one of the major humanitarian projects of the Zayed Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Work.

The renovation of the Sheikh Zayed Child Care Complex included the construction of 12 new buildings and the modernization of existing facilities, increasing its capacity to approximately 700 children. Additionally, the outdoor agricultural areas were rehabilitated to provide a healthy and safe environment for children. This initiative is part of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to enhance humanitarian and social services.
