Mohammed bin Rashid Launches a 100 Billion Dirham Expansion Project for Dubai International Financial Centre
In a developmental move that reflects an inspiring leadership vision, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced the launch of the expansion project for the Dubai International Financial Centre, known as “Zabeel District.” This project is considered one of the largest financial initiatives in the region. This massive investment, estimated at 100 billion dirhams, enhances Dubai’s status as a leading financial hub, thanks to its advanced facilities and modern technology, contributing to attracting companies and talent from around the world.
The Ambitious Project
“Zabeel District – Dubai International Financial Centre” is the largest internal expansion of a financial centre in the region to date, covering a total area of approximately 7.1 million square feet, making it a prominent landmark in Dubai’s financial landscape. With the ambition to provide 17.7 million square feet of floor space, the project is expected to have a significant economic impact and enhance the emirate’s appeal as a preferred investment destination.
