Majority of Buyers Target UAE Real Estate in Upcoming Months

The robust interest in the property market in the UAE is evident, as seven in ten residents express plans to purchase property in the next six months. This trend highlights the sustained buyer confidence that continues to thrive, according to the latest findings from the Property Finder Market Pulse. As we approach 2026, this positive sentiment underscores a vital moment for both buyers and investors in the UAE real estate landscape.

The bi-monthly consumer sentiment survey reveals that demand for properties is holding strong through the final months of 2025. Many respondents displayed significant intent to make purchases, despite moderate expectations regarding price fluctuations in the upcoming months.

In the recent survey, over 5,500 participants weighed in on their intentions to buy. While enthusiasm for acquiring property remains high, expectations for price changes seem relatively restrained. Specifically, in November, 40% of buyers projected a decline in property prices, whereas 32% anticipated an increase, and 28% expected no substantial movement in prices.

Trends in Buyer Sentiment

By December, sentiment shifted slightly, with 39% expecting prices to decrease—a small drop from the previous month—while those expecting prices to rise held steady at 32%. Additionally, the percentage of respondents who believed prices would remain stable increased to 29%. This indicates a gradual improvement in sentiment from the previous survey conducted in September and October, where those anticipating price drops were at 39-40%, and expectations for increases were slightly lower.

Cherif Sleiman, Chief Revenue Officer at Property Finder, commented on these encouraging trends: “Seven in ten people planning to buy is a powerful signal. It shows that confidence in Dubai’s property market remains deeply rooted, driven by the city’s global appeal, regulatory maturity, and long-term fundamentals.”

Market Stability and Future Prospects

Sleiman further emphasized that “buyers may be price-aware, but they are not on the sidelines. Momentum is firmly carrying into 2026.” This reflects a broader trend where potential property buyers appear to be cautiously optimistic about the market, recognizing both opportunities and challenges as they navigate their purchase decisions.

With such a significant portion of the population poised to enter the property market, the UAE is set to witness robust activity in the real estate sector. As buyer confidence continues to hold firm, stakeholders can expect a dynamic market environment as we move into the new year.
