Over 250,000 workers participated in a festive celebration organized during the 54th Union Day holiday across more than 30 locations nationwide. The event, themed “Satisfaction of Our Workers on Our Union Day,” aimed to honor the vital contributions of the labor force and foster a sense of community.
Vibrant Activities to Celebrate Workers
The celebrations included a variety of competitive and interactive activities, along with valuable prize draws and gifts distributed to workers at celebration sites. These initiatives were orchestrated by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, in partnership with multiple entities, including the Ministry of Interior, the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, and the public safety departments of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah.
A Collective Effort from Various Organizations
Numerous organizations joined forces to make this celebration a success, highlighting the commitment to worker welfare. Participating bodies included Abu Dhabi Ports, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, and various charitable groups such as the Sharjah Charity Association and the Emirates Red Crescent. Many companies also engaged in activities within their labor accommodations, showcasing their support for the workers’ community.
