Um Najat Needs Treatment for Blood Clotting at 13,200 Dirhams
Amid the health challenges she faces, Um Najat, a 50-year-old Egyptian woman, suffers from a condition that causes rapid blood clotting. This condition has led to multiple clots, necessitating ongoing medical supervision and periodic treatments costing over 13,200 dirhams. Given her family’s financial difficulties, her husband appeals to kind-hearted individuals for support to ensure his wife’s well-being.
Ongoing Struggles with the Illness
Um Najat’s husband spoke about her condition, saying, “My wife has been suffering from swelling in her leg for many years, and she feels extremely fatigued when doing any household work.” He took her to Dubai Government Hospital for the necessary tests, which revealed that she suffers from rapid blood clotting, in addition to other health issues including diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.
Health and Psychological Challenges
The husband noted that doctors advised him to ensure his wife avoids any physical exertion and adheres to a healthy diet while taking the prescribed medications and vitamins. “My wife experienced severe pain in her left leg, which required her to be transported to the hospital by ambulance, where doctors discovered that she had suffered a clot due to non-compliance with treatment.”
Treatment Costs and a Call for Help
After spending a week in the hospital, Um Najat’s condition improved, but the family remains in urgent need of the 13,200 dirhams required for her treatment. Due to their financial difficulties, her husband is deeply concerned about the possibility of his wife’s health deteriorating. “I am the sole provider for my family, and I have to pay 3,000 dirhams for rent, leaving barely enough to cover daily living expenses, so I urge kind-hearted individuals to help us.”
Um Najat’s story reflects the reality faced by many, where health and finances clash in a harsh struggle. At a time when she needs continuous care, hope remains in the hearts of compassionate people who may offer assistance in her time of need.
A call is made to anyone with a kind heart to contribute to supporting Um Najat’s family in securing the treatment that is a matter of her life.
