This project focuses on children from birth to eight years old and emphasizes the importance of early intervention in cases of developmental delays. Comprehensive Initiative for Child Care
The “Early Detection” project is part of institutional cooperation with the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, aiming to improve the quality of healthcare services for children. The project includes an initial medical assessment conducted by a pediatrician, followed by a comprehensive evaluation at specialized centers. Through these steps, early intervention services can be provided to support the healthy and educational development of children.
Supporting Families and the Community
Abdullah Abdul Ali Al-Humaidan, Secretary-General of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, confirmed that the Early Detection project enhances coordination between healthcare and educational institutions in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra. He added that the main goal is to provide comprehensive support to families by guiding them to consult with a pediatrician to ensure their children’s health before proceeding to specialized evaluation.

Nasiba Al-Hamadi, Head of the Assessment and Diagnosis Center at the Zayed Higher Organization, points out that one of the most important aspects of the Early Detection project is its psychological support and family guidance. This contributes to empowering families to make informed decisions regarding their children’s needs, making early detection a crucial step before developmental delays become significant obstacles.
