Recently, the country hosted leaders from over 15 Arab nations as part of the third cohort of the “Future Government Leaders in the Arab World” program. His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, received participants at the Ajman Emiri Court yesterday. The leaders, representing diverse Arab nations, gathered for a knowledge-sharing visit to the UAE, aiming to learn about best practices in government development. This program, launched in February 2023, seeks to cultivate a new generation of capable government leaders across the Arab world.

During the reception, Sheikh Ammar emphasized that “the UAE has established an advanced governmental model founded on future readiness.” He highlighted that agility in decision-making and accelerated achievements are essential components of this framework. A Comprehensive Leadership Development Initiative
The “Future Government Leaders” program is implemented in collaboration with the Arab Organization for Administrative Development under the League of Arab States. This unique platform is designed to equip Arab government leaders with the necessary skills to effectively navigate rapid changes and create opportunities. Sheikh Ammar noted the significance of specialized leadership programs, which enable governmental staff to possess strategic thinking tools and adapt to the dynamic landscape of public administration.

During the meeting, Sheikh Ammar, alongside Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department of Tourism, Culture, and Media in Ajman, discussed the goals and outcomes of the program. Participants will engage in various learning pathways and field visits to federal and local government entities across the UAE. These experiences will provide them with insights into diverse governmental practices and help them understand the integration between federal and local levels of governance.

Additionally, the Ajman government shared its experience with the “Ajman Vision 2030” through a workshop focused on the vision’s strategic directions.
