UAE and Kuwait Leaders Address Ongoing Iranian Terror Threats

In recent discussions, the President of the UAE addressed the ongoing Iranian terrorist attacks against the UAE, Kuwait, and other countries in the region during a meeting with the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister. This topic underscores the urgent need for cooperative measures to enhance regional security and stability amidst rising tensions. The meeting highlighted the importance of diplomatic relations and collaborative efforts to combat threats posed by external forces.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, received Sheikh Jassim Jarrah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Foreign Minister of Kuwait.

During the meeting, Sheikh Jassim conveyed the greetings of his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, along with his wishes for the UAE’s continued security and prosperity. In return, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed sent his greetings to the Emir of Kuwait and expressed his wishes for further growth and prosperity for the country and its people under his wise leadership.

Developing Fraternal Relations

His Highness discussed with the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister the fraternal relations between the two countries and ways to enhance cooperation and joint efforts that serve their mutual interests and benefit their peoples.

Countering Iranian Terrorist Attacks

The meeting also addressed the developments in the region and their serious implications for regional and international security and stability, particularly in light of the ongoing Iranian terrorist attacks against the UAE, Kuwait, and other countries in the region, which target civilians, facilities, and civilian infrastructure. This discussion highlights the importance of efforts to defend the security of both countries and the safety of their territories and citizens.

Preparations for Future Meetings

Present at the meeting were His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE and Deputy Prime Minister; His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President; along with several ministers and officials.

Sheikh Jassim Jarrah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah departed the country at the conclusion of his visit, where he was seen off at the airport by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and a number of officials.

Regional pressures are increasing, and within this context, the issue of ongoing Iranian terrorist attacks against the UAE, Kuwait, and other countries in the region remains a top priority in the dialogue between the two nations.
