In a vibrant celebration marking the 54th UAE National Day, the parks and gardens of Sharjah will come alive with a series of festive events from November 19 to December 2, 2025. This joyous gathering invites the community to unite under the flag of the nation, reflecting pride in their heritage while looking forward to a hopeful future. The celebrations are designed to enhance community bonds and promote patriotism through a variety of engaging activities tailored for everyone.

Starting at Al Suyuh Park for Families on November 19 at 4:00 PM, the festivities will continue daily, creating a community symphony that embodies the values of belonging and unity. The lineup at Sharjah National Park includes daily programs from 4 PM to 10 PM featuring traditional performances that showcase Emirati identity, alongside competitions that engage both children and adults in a fun and competitive atmosphere. The “Year of Community” initiative will also take center stage through daily discussions aimed at reinforcing family ties and collaboration, featuring community figures dedicated to sharing the essence of the initiative with attendees.

Children will delight in artistic segments that combine drawing, coloring, and educational activities. Additionally, local performances and large screen visual broadcasts will enhance the experience, complemented by laser shows illuminating the night sky. A special show featuring Salukis will further mesmerize attendees at the park.

Al Suyuh Park: A Hub of Heritage and Knowledge

Al Suyuh Park for Families will host one of the most diverse programs during the celebrations of the 54th Union Day. Its daily interactive events and educational workshops will include traditional performances, fun competitions, and interactions with community figures that reflect the emirate’s spirit of diversity. Youth forums discussing cultural heritage will be part of the dynamic offerings, alongside theatrical and visual shows. Special workshops for seniors will be conducted in collaboration with the Social Services Department, as well as an AI-powered drawing station.

The event will feature a wide array of workshops running throughout the days. On the first day, artisans, falconers, and coffee brewers will give live demonstrations, followed by agricultural workshops introducing children to sustainable farming practices in an interactive setting. These workshops encompass a variety of activities, including pottery, making maps of the UAE from stones and sands, crafting traditional dolls, glass painting, creating national cards, and distributing plant seedlings. Kashisha Park: An Additional Space for Families

Kashisha Park will also partake in the celebrations from November 19 to December 2, operating from 4 PM to 10 PM. The park will host a unique program featuring traditional performances, interactive competitions, and community sessions, alongside activities dedicated to children. Engaging audiovisual and laser shows will infuse the space with an exhilarating festive atmosphere, allowing families to fully enjoy the United Arab Emirates’ National Day, creating an environment of comfort within their neighborhoods, complemented by an AI photo booth and other photography stations for visitors to capture and commemorate their celebrations.

Al Rafaa Park: Celebrating Loyalty and Belonging

Al Rafaa Park in the Mughaidir suburb will offer a special program on November 21 and 22. The neighborhood will be adorned with decor reflecting the residents’ connection to their heritage and loyalty to their nation. The first day’s events will kick off with a bicycle parade from the neighborhood council to the park, followed by a procession around the park involving local families. Performances by traditional bands will create an enchanting atmosphere, accompanied by competitions and prizes for both children and adults, plus engaging artistic segments for kids.

The second day will feature K9 police dog demonstrations by the Sharjah Police General Command and an “Best Outfit” segment for children in their national attire, alongside competitions and entertainment activities for the young ones. The neighborhood will resonate with community spirit, embodying the essence of unity in a warm family setting.

These national festivities across Sharjah’s parks and gardens exemplify the deep sense of belonging and commitment to the nation, reaffirming the special significance of National Day in the hearts of citizens and residents alike.
