Here’s everything you need to know about the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Where do the races take place?

Yas Marina

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix takes place at the Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Island. It’s one of the most technologically advanced tracks worldwide.

When drivers take their positions, they race 58 laps around the 5.281-kilometer circuit, providing fans with almost two hours of action.

Currently, race timings, including practice sessions, qualifying, and the final race, are yet to be announced, but stay tuned for updates.

Why is it a big deal?

All F1 races are incredible spectacles, but Abu Dhabi is particularly exciting.

Mclaren Constructors Championships 2025

It’s not only the final race of the season before a well-deserved winter break for drivers but also when the Constructors Champions’ for the season are likely announced (as in 2024).

Last year, McLaren won the title with 666 points throughout the season — their first win since 1998. Ferrari followed closely, just 14 points behind.

The battle for the title made the race a nail-biter, leaving fans on the edge of their seats until the winning team received the checkered flag.

Each season starts with a clean slate, so for 2025, all teams begin from scratch with zero points.

Currently, McLaren is dominating the track. Will they clinch the title again this year? We will have to wait and watch…

Max Verstappen

As for the F1 World Champion, the announcement depends on drivers’ individual points. Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing is the reigning World Drivers’ Champion, winning the title in 2025 with an impressive 437 points.

Will 2025 be the year Verstappen wins his fifth title in a row? (Red Bull, change your car!) Or will Ferrari finally enable Lewis Hamilton to claim his eighth title? Could it be Lando Norris or Oscar Piastri who will win? All we can do is wait…

Oh, and speaking of stars, here’s a word about the rookies: Six new drivers joined the grid this year, and after three races, we’re impressed with Kimi Antonelli from Mercedes, Isack Hadjar from Racing Bulls, and Ollie Bearman from Haas.

We have no doubt they are future World Champions. Watch out, veterans… they’re coming for you.

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after-race concerts

After adrenaline-pumping action on the tracks, F1 fans can head home, but why not enjoy cool after-race concerts?

It’s the perfect way to end the night for motorsport-mad fans. These concerts take place at Etihad Park, near Yas Marina Circuit, featuring top artists that add extra sparkle to the weekend.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: To see these performers, you need tickets to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025. As mentioned, seats are selling fast, so get your spots soon.
