Palm Wins $750 Million Contracts for Jebel Ali Development

In a significant move towards boosting Dubai‘s infrastructure, نخيل has announced the awarding of three major contracts valued at over 750 million dirhams for construction works on the renowned نخلة جبل علي. These initiatives are expected to enhance the area’s architectural offerings and align with the city’s ambitious development goals. Scheduled for completion in the last quarter of 2026, this project marks a new chapter in Dubai’s urban landscape.

Strategic Development and Contract Allocation

The contracts, granted to دي بي بي للمقاولات ذ.م.م, signify a crucial step in the ongoing development of نخلة جبل علي, a project recognized for its innovative approach to waterfront living. With a proven track record on the island, دي بي بي للمقاولات has previously secured multiple contracts for various infrastructure projects, including public roads and specialized construction routes.

The Vision Behind نخلة جبل علي

As one of the most ambitious undertakings by نخيل, the نخلة جبل علي project aims to establish a new benchmark for luxury living along the coastline. Offering a wide array of modern amenities, it will significantly contribute to Dubai’s growth trajectory over the coming decades. This project aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) and represents a new phase in urban expansion in the Jebel Ali region, inspired by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Expertise and Commitment to Quality

On this occasion, Khalid Al Malek, CEO of دبي القابضة للعقارات, stated, “The massive نخلة جبل علي project embodies Dubai’s ambition to redefine luxury living along the global waterfront. We aim for this flagship project to serve as a transformative force in the city’s urban framework, inspired by our leaders’ vision for the future.” He expressed confidence in their collaboration with دي بي بي للمقاولات, highlighting the firm’s extensive experience and commitment to quality as key factors that will ensure the project’s success.

In response, Eugénie Patrick Terbilan, General Manager of دي بي بي للمقاولات, expressed pride in participating in this landmark project. He noted, “We are excited to work alongside نخيل in shaping the future of Dubai and look forward to leveraging our expertise to realize this ambitious endeavor.”

Comprehensive Infrastructure Developments

The extensive infrastructure works for the palm fronds from A to G include utility connections, all associated excavation and filling activities, and road and pavement construction. Essential utility installations for the 11 kV power distribution line and telecommunications are also part of this extensive scope. The infrastructure work in the central area entails the installation of main utilities, connection of all utility lines on the fronds, and the construction of all main and secondary roads. Additionally, land leveling and preparation for the power line servicing نخلة جبل علي will be included.

The seven islands of نخلة جبل علي will span 13.4 kilometers and feature 16 fronds with a beach stretching for 90 kilometers, further aligning with the “Dubai Urban Plan 2040,” which aims to enhance access to public beaches.

This project is poised to set a new standard for upscale waterfront living by creating vibrant urban neighborhoods that blend residential, recreational, and retail spaces. Designed with a focus on pedestrian accessibility, residents and visitors will find ample recreational areas supported by smart and eco-friendly infrastructure, alongside an advanced transportation network that seamlessly connects the project with its surroundings.
