According to recent statistics from a collaboration between the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization and “Task,” the usage of these platforms by employers and job seekers has been highlighted. The data reveals that “Tanas” and “LinkedIn” are the most utilized platforms among citizens seeking jobs in the private sector, reflecting employment trends in the UAE for this year.

The Importance of the “Tanas” Platform in the Labor Market

A survey involving 2,000 citizens and 450 employers showed that the “Tanas” platform remains the leading tool for job seekers, with 55.95% of participants using it to find job opportunities. Although this percentage has decreased compared to last year’s 77.65%, “Tanas” still plays a vital role in connecting Emirati citizens with available job opportunities.

Job Search Trends

In addition to “Tanas,” 57.27% of survey participants used the “LinkedIn” platform, and 54.79% relied on job sites as important tools in the job search process. This reflects a growing trend towards diverse search strategies that include the use of digital networks and professional relationship building, with 47.81% of job seekers relying directly on company websites.

Employer Successes Using “Tanas”

Employment platforms, such as “Tanas,” continue to be a primary channel for meeting localization needs, with 58.13% of employers selecting it as their preferred hiring platform, showing a slight increase from last year. Job portals have also seen a noticeable increase in usage, reflecting the ongoing growth in the adoption of digital means.

New Strategies in Talent Recruitment

The data indicates that personal networks are considered a key strategy for recruiting talent, with 57.18% of employers using them, showing significant progress from last year. At the same time, social media continues to play an increasingly important role in recruitment strategies, with 37.32% of employers reporting its use for this purpose. Thus, it is clear that “Tanas” remains the preferred platform for citizens seeking jobs, while other job search trends represent a distinctive integration sought by the market.
