The Fujairah Environment Authority reported a remarkable achievement through its smart initiative aimed at collecting and recycling plastic and aluminum containers. This project engaged 218 active consumers, leading to the collection of a total of 47,351 containers, weighing an impressive 1,184 kilograms. As a result, this effort contributed to a reduction in carbon emissions equivalent to 6,000 kilograms while also saving 309.1 megajoules of energy in the areas where the devices were implemented.
