Goals of the Bureaucracy Zeroing Initiative
The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security is focused on providing better services to its clients through strategic objectives aimed at improving service quality. The Director General of the Authority, Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, stated that “the Bureaucracy Zeroing month initiative aims to simplify procedures to make them easier, faster, and more efficient.” These objectives include promoting a culture of bureaucracy zeroing and enhancing employee and partner engagement in service design.
Activities for Bureaucracy Zeroing Month
The second edition of Bureaucracy Zeroing Month features a series of innovative activities, including the “Bureaucracy Zeroing Hackathon,” which focuses on gathering new ideas from the Authority’s employees. Additionally, the “Comprehensive Bureaucracy Zeroing Lab” supports this initiative by bringing together stakeholders, including government entities and the private sector. These activities aim to enhance positive interaction and develop flexible solutions that meet community needs.
Additional Initiatives to Support Zeroing
Efforts to zero bureaucracy continue through several initiatives, such as the “Zeroing Expo: Shared Services” in Abu Dhabi, which brings partners together to provide innovative services. Furthermore, influential participants in this field will be honored, contributing to motivating employees to dedicate themselves to providing the best services. The “Zero Lab Podcast” will also be launched to promote a culture of bureaucracy zeroing within the community.
