Hamdan bin Mohammed Chairs Executive Council Meeting During the Annual Meetings of the UAE Government
In line with the visions of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, emphasized the importance of continuing comprehensive development efforts in the emirate. This was stated during the Executive Council meeting held today as part of the annual meetings of the UAE Government for 2025. Comprehensive Development Directions
During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum stressed that Dubai continues to work confidently toward achieving its ambitious goals. He clarified that the city will remain a center for innovation and growth, stating: “With the vision of Mohammed bin Rashid, we are building in Dubai a comprehensive city that integrates urban development with nature, enhancing health and quality of life.” The Dubai 2033 plan includes various strategies aimed at improving quality of life and providing a conducive environment for residents and visitors.
He also pointed out the importance of achieving a balance between urban development and citizen well-being, highlighting the adoption of the tree planting and parks strategy in Dubai. This strategy aims to triple the number of trees in the city and provide a green environment that is comfortable for residents.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum spoke about Dubai’s role in vital sectors such as aviation and sports. He emphasized the significance of the “Aviation Talents 33” initiative, which aims to enhance the role of national talent in this sector and create over 15,000 job opportunities. “Dubai has one of the largest aviation sectors in the world and continues to cement its position as a global hub,” he added.
He also highlighted education as a strategic priority, considering that improving the quality of education is key to human development. A package of government incentives has been approved to make high-quality education affordable, enhancing Dubai’s status as a competitive educational destination.
Enhancing City Sustainability
Regarding sustainability, a comprehensive healthcare strategy was announced, aiming to provide early detection services for its citizens to promote public health. His Highness emphasized that “the health of the individual is a safeguard for the community and an investment in the future.” This initiative is part of the Dubai Social Plan 33, which seeks to achieve higher quality of life standards.
At the conclusion of the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum noted that Dubai will continue to strengthen its position as a global financial center, pointing out the importance of regulatory processes and legislation that enhance Dubai’s attractiveness as a major business destination.
