Conclusion of the “Al Ain Deserves” Campaign for Public Appearance Preservation

The Municipality of Al Ain successfully concluded the “Al Ain Deserves” campaign, aimed at preserving the public appearance and enhancing environmental and community awareness among residents. The campaign lasted for seven months and focused on promoting civilized behavior and social responsibility, in line with Al Ain’s vision as a sustainable city with a high quality of life. This initiative not only enhanced the city’s aesthetics but also stimulated positive responses from the community.

Campaign Results and Impact

The campaign achieved tangible results, revealing the effectiveness of the participatory approach adopted by the Municipality of Al Ain. Over one million people benefited from the campaign’s programs and initiatives, which included more than 10,000 awareness-raising field visits across various areas of the city, thanks to collaboration with 21 strategic partners. This diversity in participation significantly contributed to the campaign’s success.

Community and Awareness Initiatives

During the campaign, 51 awareness initiatives were implemented, targeting residential neighborhoods, industrial areas, farms, as well as commercial shops and public parks. The campaign achieved an overall satisfaction rate of 98% regarding awareness methods, with a notable decrease in violations of public appearance standards by 36.2% compared to the beginning of the campaign. These results reflect the positive impact of effective communication with the community.

Municipal Leaders’ Opinions

Salem Rashid Al Ketbi, Executive Director of the Sub-Municipal Operations Sector, stated that this campaign serves as an advanced model of municipal work based on community partnership. Al Ketbi thanked all community members for their positive engagement, praising the role of strategic partners in the success of the “Al Ain Deserves” initiative. He emphasized that the goal is to foster sustainable behavioral change that enhances shared responsibility for preserving public appearance.

Future Initiatives

Fatima Al Shamsi, Head of the Community Communication Department in the municipality, pointed out that the diversity of initiatives in the “Al Ain Deserves” campaign had a significant impact on expanding the scope of influence and reaching new segments of the community. This diversity helped transform awareness messages into daily practices, leading to an improved urban landscape in Al Ain. The results achieved indicate the need for more specialized initiatives to sustain the city’s beauty.
