As noted by Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, this year’s “شتانا في حتّا” builds on the immense success of its predecessor, which attracted over 650,000 visitors during its month-long celebration at Lake Lime. The festival has been meticulously crafted to promote diversity and inclusivity, aligning with Dubai’s Urban Master Plan 2040 by enhancing awareness of Hatta’s unique cultural and tourist offerings. The carefully designed venue offers a wide array of activities tailored for family members of all ages, presenting an opportunity for attendees to connect with the natural wonders and rich heritage of Hatta.
A Comprehensive Experience for All Visitors
The festival offers extensive facilities and services to ensure comfort for all guests, including prayer rooms, restaurants, cafes, parking spaces, and valet services, all of which come together to create an unforgettable visit, especially during the bustling winter season. Amini Taher, a member of the organizing team, highlighted the significance of this community event, stating, “The timing of the festival has been aligned with school holidays, allowing families an extended opportunity to participate in various activities.” The event balances entertainment and education, featuring over 150 workshops and more than 30 engaging activities for both children and adults throughout the festival’s duration.

This year, “شتانا في حتّا” is placing a special emphasis on children’s entertainment, offering expansive areas and a vibrant itinerary filled with activities designed to spark joy. Kids can enjoy creative skill-building workshops, and for the first time, a mini-zoo featuring a variety of animals such as ponies, deer, goats, falcons, parrots, and rabbits will be introduced. Additionally, the winter games zone will create a lively atmosphere with exciting interactive experiences tailored for all ages, where families can compete in a variety of thrilling challenges, ensuring lasting memories.
Creative Workshops and Cultural Engagement
The festival’s workshops will serve as a hub of creativity for both adults and children, hosting over 150 interactive sessions in the open air with breathtaking views of Lake Lime.
