On this occasion, Dr. Mohammed Alzarooni, the CEO of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority, stated, “These facilities reflect دييز’s commitment to Dubai’s steadfast approach in supporting the business community and enhancing its stability. By providing flexible solutions that address current needs, we aim to support the continuity of businesses.” He added that the authority is dedicated to translating directives from leadership into practical initiatives that empower companies to navigate various challenges with confidence.
Alleviating Financial Burdens
The economic package includes several measures aimed at lessening the operational burdens on companies. Notably, it incorporates the freezing of rents upon contract renewal and exemptions from certain administrative fees, including penalties for delays in renewing licenses until conditions stabilize. This ensures greater flexibility in managing operational commitments.
Additionally, دييز offers the option to pay rent in monthly installments, fully waiving any installment fees. This is designed to enhance companies’ financial liquidity, enabling them to maintain efficient and stable operations during this temporary phase.
Enhancing Business Flexibility
Moreover, دييز allows a three-month deferment in paying shareholder amendment fees and exempts companies from charges related to structural changes or increases in authorized capital. These measures are intended to support the flexibility of companies in restructuring their operations and evolving their business models.
