The Sharjah Charity Association is making significant strides in educational support as 67,960 students in various Asian and African countries commence their academic year in 1,699 educational establishments established over the past decade. This initiative is a result of the charitable contributions and donations received by the association, reflecting its commitment to improving educational opportunities for children and youth in underserved regions.
Promoting Educational Opportunities
According to Mohammed Rashid Bin Bayat, Vice Chairman of the Sharjah Charity Association, the commencement of the new academic year highlights the tangible benefits of the support provided by philanthropists. The newly established institutions in remote areas of countries covered by the UAE’s foreign aid programmes are now accessible, affording local children conducive environments to pursue their education and thrive.
Significant Achievements in Education Development
From 2015 to 2025, the association has successfully constructed 1,699 classrooms, made possible through the generous donations from benefactors. This initiative underscores the association’s deep-rooted belief that education is a fundamental human right and one of the most essential tools for empowering individuals directly.
Such efforts not only enhance educational access but also contribute significantly towards building a brighter future for generations to come, reaffirming the Sharjah Charity Association’s leading role in the realm of humanitarian efforts.
