As the 2026-2027 academic year approaches, public schools in the UAE are urging parents to complete the “Student Identification Card.” This form is essential for collecting key information about students, including contact details for their families, residential addresses, and transportation methods to and from school. The initiative aims to update school databases, enhance communication with families, and streamline student movements.
Essential Information Required
Schools have emphasised the importance of accurately filling out the card, which includes the student’s name and class. Parents must ensure they provide correct information, especially as classes for first-year students will be established on the first school day. Additionally, it’s crucial to accurately input phone numbers, detail residential areas, and specify the mode of transportation used, whether it be the school bus or private vehicle.
Importance of Accurate Data Collection
By collecting this data, schools aim to organise the flow of student arrivals and departures, particularly vital during the initial days of the school year when routines are being established. The contact information will allow schools to reach parents quickly if required. The identification card also serves as an immediate source of information for schools regarding each student, especially newcomers and first graders, aiding in their orientation and transition into school life.
Preparation for a Smooth Academic Year
These measures are part of the schools’ preparations to welcome students back and establish an organised learning environment for the new academic year. By ensuring that all necessary operational and organisational steps are completed, schools aim to facilitate a smooth transition for students returning to their classrooms.
Call to Action for Parents
School administrations have requested that families print the identification card and send it along with their child. It is crucial for parents to fill in all details accurately across all educational stages to ensure effective communication and organisational efficiency.
