In an effort to amplify the digital presence of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Dubai, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce has formalised a memorandum of understanding with the global e-commerce platform, Trendyol. This collaboration aims to enhance the capabilities of local businesses and explore growth opportunities in the digital trade landscape.
Support for SMEs to Enter the E-commerce Realm
Through this agreement, members of the Dubai Chamber will gain access to Trendyol’s extensive digital infrastructure and expertise in e-commerce. The initiative is designed to facilitate the onboarding of local companies onto the Trendyol platform while providing essential support and training.
Exclusive Benefits and Discounts for Members
SMEs that are members of the Dubai Chamber will enjoy exclusive advantages designed to encourage their integration into the Trendyol platform. These benefits include an impressive 40% discount on initial commission fees for the first three months, a significant increase from the standard 20% discount available to all vendors. Additionally, the period for availing this discount has been extended by another month, offering a total of three months of reduced fees, as opposed to the usual two. The memorandum also outlines a comprehensive training programme aimed at equipping sellers with the necessary skills for sustainable growth on the platform.
