Presidential Guard Continues Recruiting Citizens: Join the Elite Today

The UAE Presidential Guard Command has announced that it continues to receive enlistment applications from military candidates, in a move aimed at attracting young national talent, strengthening the readiness of the defence and security system, and opening distinguished pathways for Emiratis who wish to serve their country within its ranks.

Under the slogan “Be among the elite”, the command said the recruitment drive reflects its ongoing commitment to empowering national cadres and preparing a generation of service members trained to the highest standards of discipline, competence and readiness. The initiative, it added, aligns with leadership directives and national priorities, and supports the Ministry of Defence’s strategy to build an advanced defence system centred on the UAE national, and on his deep sense of responsibility, loyalty and dedication to the homeland, leadership and society.

Eligibility requirements and benefits

The Presidential Guard Command has set out the basic requirements for applicants. Candidates must be UAE nationals, aged between 18 and 30, at least 160 centimetres tall, and must pass the required medical examination. Those accepted will be exempted from the National Service programme.

It also announced a number of benefits for elite recruits and members of the Presidential Guard, including exemption from National Service, an accredited diploma certificate from the Ministry of Higher Education, in addition to a competitive salary and a military rank.

Registration centres open across the UAE

Registration centres have continued to receive applications from those wishing to join the Presidential Guard since the current registration phase began last June, operating from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm across the UAE. Locations include Dalma Mall, Yas Mall, Bawabat Al Sharq Mall and Al Ain Mall in Abu Dhabi; Mirdif City Centre, Emirates Co-operative Society in Hatta, Al Khawaneej Walk and Dubai Outlet Mall in Dubai; Al Zahia City Centre, Ajman City Centre, Umm Al Quwain Mall, Manar Mall in Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah City Centre, and Lulu Hypermarket in Dibba.

A national call to ambitious youth

The Presidential Guard Command said opening enlistment to the sons of the nation is a national invitation to ambitious Emirati youth to become part of a journey of honour and responsibility, and to contribute their skills and energy to serving the UAE, safeguarding its achievements, and enhancing its security and stability under the banner of the wise leadership.

It also stressed the importance of attracting qualified national talent and refining its capabilities through advanced training programmes and a work system built on discipline, professionalism and team spirit, ensuring the preparation of cadres able to carry out their duties with high efficiency and embody the core values of the UAE Armed Forces: professionalism, courage, honour and loyalty.

Joining the Presidential Guard, it said, is not merely a career path, but an honour and a national duty, and an opportunity for every Emirati young man with determination and resolve to test his abilities, develop his skills, and stand in the front lines to protect the nation, defend its achievements, and continue raising the UAE’s name high.

The command urged citizens who meet the requirements to register without delay and seize the opportunity to join the military ranks and take part in a noble national mission that reflects the highest meanings of belonging and loyalty to the UAE, its leadership and its people. WAM
