The Diba Al-Hisn Parents Council Organizes the Second Youth Session Titled “Family”
As part of the efforts to strengthen family bonds and support youth, the Diba Al-Hisn Parents Council organized the second youth session titled “Family.” This event was held in collaboration with various entities, including the Diba Al-Hisn Comprehensive Police Station and the Eastern Youth Council. The session focused on strategies for empowering children and developing the skills necessary to face future challenges. Attendees, comprising parents and youth, gathered to discuss the importance of family in shaping personalities and promoting positive values within the community.
Session Topics and Role Distribution
The session addressed two main topics: the role of the family in empowering children and building future skills, along with the entrepreneurial skills that youth need in the current era. The aim was to enrich constructive dialogue on how parents can play an active role in shaping their children’s personalities and enhancing their positive values. Key future skills required for youth in light of the rapid developments in society were also discussed.
Session Management and Participants
The session was managed by Ahmed Abdullah Mohammed Al-Nuqbi, Chairman of the Eastern Youth Council, who facilitated the discussion among participants. Among the speakers were Ms. Nawal Ibrahim Al-Sakar, Head of the Educational and Academic Committee at the Diba Al-Hisn Parents Council, Ali Hassan Jamal Al-Balooshi, a trainer and lecturer in human development, and Abdullah Mohammed Shahdad Al-Balooshi, a member of the Eastern Youth Council. Each provided unique insights highlighting the importance of cooperation between families and youth.

The session saw fruitful interaction with 67 participants, reflecting the community’s awareness of the importance of constructive dialogue between parents and youth. Attendees exchanged ideas and discussions about the challenges that families may face, as well as the opportunities available to support and empower youth in the future.
