Issa Abdul Fattah Kazim is not just an ordinary manager; he has held several high-ranking positions throughout his career. He began his professional life as an analyst in the Research and Statistics Department at the Central Bank of the UAE in 1988. In 1993, he moved to the Department of Economic Development in Dubai, where he served as the Director of the Planning and Development Department, significantly contributing to the enhancement of the economic landscape in the emirate.
His Leadership in Financial Markets
From 1999 to 2006, Issa Kazim served as General Manager of the Dubai Financial Market, overseeing numerous strategic initiatives. In 2007, he became Chairman of the Board of the Dubai Financial Market, leading the institution until 2021. During this period, the market evolved into one of the leading financial markets in the region, thanks to his vision and expertise.
Academic Qualifications and Additional Experience
Issa Kazim holds an honorary doctorate from the American University of Kuwait, in addition to a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Iowa.
