26 Startups Leading Industrial Innovation through Youth-Led Solutions

In a significant step towards fostering innovation within the industrial sector, the Arab Youth Center has officially launched the seventh round of the “Youth Solutions” initiative. This program, in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology and the Federal Youth Foundation, features 26 promising startups from the UAE’s industrial landscape. With a comprehensive three-week remote training course facilitated by Elevate Ventures, the program aims to empower young entrepreneurs by equipping them with the skills necessary to address current market challenges and contribute to sustainable development.

His Excellency Dr. Sultan Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Deputy Chairman of the Arab Youth Center, highlighted the center’s commitment to nurturing a generation of youth capable of tackling challenges and providing solutions. He stated that the initiative’s theme, “Made in the Arab World,” reflects a deep belief in the potential of youth to drive growth in their communities. By supporting initiatives that align with sustainable development goals, the program aims to showcase inspiring success stories from across the region.

The primary objective of this round is to enhance the capabilities of young people in the industrial sector, reinforcing the Arab Youth Center’s belief in their pivotal role in a vital industry. The initiative encourages young individuals to develop innovative industrial solutions that meet local market needs while addressing the nation’s priorities, including supply chain enhancements, production efficiency improvements, and the development of environmentally friendly solutions to bolster a circular economy.

The “Youth Solutions” initiative stands as a key strategic program led by the Arab Youth Center, designed to empower young Arab entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into actionable solutions. This round opens the floor to participants aged between 15 and 35 years, including Emirati youth and Arab residents in the UAE, to present their startups in a supportive environment that fosters creativity and connects them with decision-makers and experts in the field.

The current training course serves as a crucial preparatory phase, offering intensive and practical qualifications that encompass financial model development, presentation skills enhancement, and operational planning refinement for their projects. Startups will undergo a preliminary evaluation by specialized judging panels to select the top six companies that will advance to the final stage.

The seventh round is set to conclude on July 15, coinciding with International Youth Skills Day. The closing event will take place at the Arab Youth Center in Abu Dhabi, where the qualified startups will present their projects for the second time before a panel of esteemed judges and decision-makers. The top three winners will be announced and receive necessary support to scale their projects and amplify their impact in the local market.
